I have a 2003 pathfinder LE which has a small led panel under the rpm gauge to indicate which wheels have power and such from the all-mode 4 wheel drive system. One of my lights on that panel stopped working a while ago and I'm wondering if it's at all possible to repair it or take it somewhere to get repaired. The lights are factory installed green LEDs that are part of the circuit board behind the tachs. (I know this because I've disassembled it before)
Any comments and thoughts are welcome. Thank you.

The LEDs are surface mounted, so they would be difficult to swap out. If you're lucky, it might just be a bad solder joint. It's probably a hell of a job to access the front PCB of the cluster though. I know on late 2001.5 and 2002 clusters the all-mode 4WD indicator light is an actual bulb, but that is no longer the case on the 2003. :(

2001.5
mine flickers...I mean the 4wd system works great but the light when on 4wd would flicker...and still would when you shift back to 2wd...I guess the soldering is bad since the bulb still lights up...might just need a heat gun blown on the board to resolder the joints...meh
