What's going on,I haven't been on here in a while but felt the need to start posting more often plus gonna scrap a build thread and how to tutorial as me and my friend are in the process to boosting my stock 97 s14.

On another note I got a few questions about the setup and what not I'm going witm 1st off the turbo is a gt28r garrett, mounted on a bottom mount meagan mani,sr down pipe with the one inch extension welded in,detchwerk 370's (wish I woulda got bigger but that's what the guy gave me with all the parts listed),fmic piping with hks ssqv bov on it,all plumbing for oil and waterbesides return but just ordered that and a bung for my spar oil pan, used perfectly working 255 pump, apexi safc 2,boost gauge.z32 maf with pigtail. Emance s13 ecu tuned by jason.

Things I still need to acquire ..
1 oil sender for feed(was thinking tunertoys)
2. Wideband(not sure if I'm going with inovative or aem)
3. Fmic core(prob ebay)
4. Sparkplugs(ngk cold plugs)forgot the exact number
5. S14 to s13 ecu conversion harness(enthalpy said 230 shipped)?
And most important OEMMM nissan thorw out bearing*** iwent with a ebay xrd stage 2clutch wich took a massive beating teacing my ex gf and little brother how to drive a 5speed and still holds hard.but now(yesterday)I went to pull away from a buddys house and there it went my throw out bearing just went so don't so the same thing as me and use the bs tob they give you with cheap clutch kits spend the 50 well 30 bucks (nissan parts employee)and go with an oem one .lol

Now onto my questions ,sorry guys for the sobb story just fig I'd thorw it in for who ever reads this...but ok first

Is anyone using or have experience with the s14 to s13 conversion harness to run a tuned s13 ecu?and to wire in a safc and all do you wire it to an s13 or s14?

2 with the wideband decision wich do you guys think I should go for?I mean I heard with innovative you save a good 30 or 40 bucks when replacing an o2 sensor but how often do they go bad?

So yeah any input on my setup or somthing I might be missing or just to comment be my guest thanks guys

For wideband I have a friend with an aem. Its pretty cool, it has an auto calibrate thing so you never have to caibrate it which kinda freaks me out. If you want to save some money I would go with a summit racing wideband(I know super white trash and cheap right??) However i run a summit wide band and its nothing more then an innovate LC1. It even comes with innovate software so its for sure the same thing just branded as summit. With the summit(innovate) you have to cailbrate it every so often to ensure an accurate read.

their is my 2 cents..

as for the safc I can only imagine you wire it as an s14 because it is going to be reading the s14 sensors regardeless.

man it been awhile since my car has been down for 14 months. I beleive its every 6 months. It says in the manuel. Its kind of a pain. You have to pull the wideband o2 sensor out of the exhaust and it comes with a button and led that you press for a certain amout of time and it initiates the calibration.

Ok cool thanks for the input, basically unless I can find a used inovative I'm going to just go with the aem wideband.so about that conversion harness any ideas?or should I get my ecu tuned?

Also one more last question....the egr thing I get so many different anwsers...is it good enough to just cut the egr tube and weld or close it shut for now?like untillim ready to put the plate on? Thanks again for the replys!

You could just weld it shut, but take it off, will free up some engine bay room in the rear.
