I got a pair of 4 point harness belts for my s14 and was wondering if anyone else has any because I'm not really too sure what to mount them to. Pics would be nice

Well if you want to "mount" them properly get at least a harness bar or get a roll bar. If not I wouldn't recommend putting them in.

Like mentioned, you would need a harness bar or a roll bar to mount the shoulder straps. Bolting them below 20 degrees is extremely unasafe and can cause spinal compresion in an accident. Besides that, little tasks like reaching the radio or glovebox becomes extremely difficult when your strapped firmly to your seat with a harness.

Besides the fact that they need proper mounting, 99% of 4-5-6 point harnesses are not DOT legal.

I have 4 point belts in my s13... last owner took the originals out. I have long arms and don't have any problems with radio stuff but the glove box is a PITA. I won't say how I did mine because I consider it unsafe. But I am welding up a steel harness bar soon.Overall, I think they are pretty comfy at 2.5" wide with my s13 seats. On top of that they hold you in nicely when you do some spirited driving. Would NOT rock them in the wife's s14 though.

Also, never been pulled over with these seat belts in.... You have been warned...

4-point harnesses are not meant for street use, and are not even allowed at most legitimate track events.

If you have a roll bar or a full cage in your car, go for a 5 or 6 point harness.

Aside from the safety issues, 4-5-6 point harnesses are just plain uncomfortable and a HUGE pain in the butt to get in and out of.

Well mine is actually easier than the old motor belts. It doesn't all combine at the center like normal ones do. The shoulder straps combine about 2" from the center clip that's like a normal seat belt.

You should be more concerned on what might hurt you. Legality is an issue, but a small one when it come to becoming a parapalegic.
