I'm not getting spark. I'm pretty sure i'm getting fuel (there is pressure in the line when i loosten it and the injectors are hooked up)

I cannot seem to locate mates for these plugs.the pic with 3 plugs. the one in my and and the larger of the other 2 (orange inside) come off the lower harness (transmission starter alt exc) The other one comes off the new harness.

the single one comes off the chassis harness down by where the battery was.

Enjuku did my harness

The round rubber covered plug you are holding in the first pic looks like the plug that goes next to the oil filter down under the intake. Hard to tell, big pics would be better :P

That's the lower engine harness, just get rid of it and run the KA harness, it will be much easeir in the long run IMHO.

You cable provider should alow you to make a free webpage. Then you can upload your pics there and link them here using the "IMG" tags. That way you don't have the image size limitations like when you attach a pic.

ok... 1000 points to swift. That did go where you said.

Moving the sr harness has a plug i didn't show that most all of the transmission wires go to... i'm actuially using the ka lower harness but i havn't unplugged the sr sensors yet. Does that sound farmiliar?

Also the plug by itself doesn't have a mate and it comes off the body.

I'm so close i can taste it. I'm gonna bust out the volt meter and check the ignitor as well....

Well you should have a wire to the oil pressure sender (the one with the rubber boot) a single wire with a clip on the end of it that's the starter signal wire, a heavy wire for the starter power, a 5th gear sensor (that you swap from the KA into the SR transmission) a reverse sensor (same thing) and the speed sensor. You will have an extra plug on the KA harness for the unused 4th gear sensor. Then you have the 2 wire plug going into the alternator, and a smaller ground wire that attaches to the back of the alternator (small wire). That should be about it for the lower harness. Call me if you have issues 260 804 2022

the large plug with red in the pic with 3 plugged in right below the fuse box. 1 left... the small one with teal inside...

On my junk yard harness there is something basically in the right spot with the right plug... what is this thing?

Nevermind this isn't it at all... wrong side... but what is it?

Moving you are the man!! If i have to call you i'll do it tomorrow... I got a more specific pic of the plug and where it's located so hopefully you or someone else can ID it from this.

It(red) comes off the upper engine harness at the same place(purple) as the ignitor harness (green: the 5 wire side)

that plug isn't needed, it's for the stock boost control solonoid (POS that limits boost in lower gears and makes sure you don't have too much fun).

Unknown part I just got my wiring harness and it has two little solenoid looking devices and I don't have the foggiest idea of what they are. They have vaccume hoses on them if that helps any. I found a picture of them on ebay sitting on the same mount that the ignitor chip is on.

Oh yeah, the guy who sold it to me said that he thinks it's the winsheild wiper controller but wasn't sure.

P.S. I was going to search for it, but I don't know what it's called so that doesn't help when trying to search.

that's from the "mystery part" thread. that is what plugs into those wires FYI.
