pretty much I am pulling out my hair...put in 4 BRAND NEW MAFS in my s14 (KA24DE) and i still can't get past 2500k RPM...

i will tell you this, we tried crossing wires... is it possible for the ECU to fry because of this? Car turns on, AC works etc etc. EVERYHTING WORKS.. Voltage is good too. Mechanic said it was a bad ECU. What do you guys think? It drives, idles fine and all...just the 2500k problem. Thanks

I think you need to double check your wiring then try an ECU you probably toasted the maf circuit

oh okay. where would i go to repair it? Sorry, i never dealt with this kind of issue. The wiring is good though. We checked the harness and nothing is wrong. No short circuiting or anything.

Check ECU grounds and MAF grounds.

Add another MAF ground.

Is it getting reference voltage?

my mechanic pretty much said everything is working the way it's supposed to work. All the wires are good, the harness is good and everything. We tried 4 brand new MAFS. Before when the first MAF went bad, i didn't check the FMS and i accidentally wired it wrong so maybe that was the culprit because the wires did get hot and started to smoke.

my mechanic already tried to add more ground to the MAF and the ECU grounds are good.

Contact jason at [email protected] he can fix it. And its not ”fried” like the thing actually melts, its just a part in the ecu that shorts out.
