I know this a redundant question, but I want to make sure before buying anything.

Recently, I brought a S13 hatchback with

BrakeBlack powdercoated nissan oem 300zx tt front calipersBlack powdercoated nissan oem 300zx tt rear calipers350z track version brake rotor conversionSPL Braided teflon brake lines

The front wheels are 4-lug and the rear wheels are 5-lug.

I just want to confirm that if I have to upgrade the front wheels from 4-lug to 5-lug, I just to get Ichiba NS-20010 Front 5 Lug Hub Conversion 89-94 S13 240SX.

And for the front wheels, what is the minimum offset that I need to get for the front wheel with the z32 brake and 350Z rotor? What is the cheapest wheel that fit the front?

I know 17x7 4x114.3 black w/ lip 5Zigen FN01R-C with fit.

Thanks!

Do you know how hard to degrade the 350Z rotors to z32 rotors?

My situation is I want to drift in a budget. And I have 2 set of 15" S13 OEM rims with tires. My options are:

1) Keep the z32 brakes and 350Z rotors. Sell those 15 rims. Buy 17" rims and tires. This will be the most expensive option.2) Keep the z32 brakes, but replace the 250Z rotors with z32 rotors. Sell those 15" rims. Buy 16" z32 OEM rims and tires. Some people said 15" S13 OEM rims will fit but the z32 brake will rub the rims.3) Sell those z32 brakes and 350Z rotors. Buy S13 stock brakes and rotors. Keep 15" rims and tires. This is the least expensive option, but I might regret later.

If you're "stuck" between the 4 & 5 lug upgrade. Maybe you can get some that are drilled for both??

I have a set of 18" Stitch wheels that are drilled for both 4x114.3 & 5x114.3 ... pretty sure they came that way originally.

I'd sell my set, but I'm pretty sure you'd have to use spacers. IIRC, they're 18x8F x9R with 40-ish offsets.

The guy I got them from had them on an S13 at one time.

Will 205/40R17 tires fit on a 17"X7" or 17"x7.5" rims?

The best website that I found regarding rims size vs tire size:

I am trying to find the cheapest 17" tires and 17" rims for drifting. And I think the cheapest tire size is 205/40R17 and rim size is 17"x7".

I just want to confirm the cheapest tires + rims combo will work.

Thanks!

cheapest tires for drifting would be 15's, so you could drift on the 15s in the rear and destroy them and keep the 17s in the front?

cheap and drifting dont always work together, if your gonna buy wheels you might as well get ones that will function well i.e. 17x9 or wider, and as for tires, you can always stretch on almost any tire for 17's depending on the width and the sidewall so there are numerous combinations for you to choose from

my friend has 215 40 17 on this 17x9 and ive seen stretches as intense as 215 45 17 on a 17x10

the lower the sidewall and wider the tred the more expensive it gets, 17s are just expensive anyway...
