I was kinda curious about this. I have the large aluminum 300zx calipers the 30mm I believe. I know the tear drops clear the smaller caliper so I was wondering if I were to put a spacer on the wheels would it clear the larger caliper?

If so how big of a spacer do i need? Ima need to do something real soon, my whole braking system needs to be replaced. Warped rotors, new pads, etc, etc, etc. Rather just finish the job converting to 300zx spending the least amount of money possible, new rims to clear arent a financial option right now. >_<

Man I don't know, it was a pretty freakin' tight fit with the 26mm and the stock wheels so on the 30mm even with spacers I just don't see it happening without making contact. I literally sat there for 10 minutes or so after finishing the brakes, granted this was just the rear, with those stock wheels on contemplating if I should roll down the street or not. They didn't make contact but it was o so close. I vote no way Jose!!!!Phatty Cooper Cobra's on dinged up stock Nissan wheels FTMFW!!!!

Hmm so in that case its not the spokes/offset that doesnt clear, its the radius of the rim? o.O

I've tried to keep researching but all I come up with is whether or not it will clear but not why. >_<

Can anyone help me out with this question?

its the diameter of the wheel thats the problem. you wnat to run at least 16" wheels. most 16's will clear, only issue would be offsets. Im not sure as to what offset wouldn't clear but im sure there is one out there.
