Are they really that much weaker than 5lug wheels? I mean it seems like they would be just as good.

well I don't know about weaker but I know they're cheaper for the manufacturers, and you know how THOSE guys go. anything to get them more profit...4 lugs, 0.5" exhaust tips lol.

from my point of inexperience with wheels. 5 lugs would mean the wheel is more secure, with more locking points. so there is greater surface area. catch my drift?

the 5 lugs secure in a greater surface area than 4 lugs. (pentagon bigger than square)that's from my high-school physics knowledge lol.

If you're thinking about the 5-lug conversion, really the only major advantage is a much wider selection of wheels. There aren't a lot of really nice 4-lug wheels in offsets that work for our cars. That's the big advantage.

Plus you gain several choices for brake upgrades with 5-lug. Otherwise you'd have to redrill the rotors.

Unless you have your heart set on a specific set of 5-lug only wheels, there's no point.

I dunno how people associate brake upgrades with the amount of lugs you have? It's gunna be a freaking ton easier and cheaper to redrill the rotors (or just order performance rotors already drilled for 4 lug).

Yeah my car had 4 lugs, I would rather spend the money on engine/suspension mods than changing the lug pattern

I have yet to find any reason to go 5 lug. I have old school Manaray wheels in 4 lug (that I adore) and I am getting Q45 brakes, which are no biggie (redrill rotors) so I am spending my cash on the aero conversion I have been eyeing instead of hubs and such.

the only reason to go 5 lug is for better wheels..

all the jdm drift groupie girls won't touch you if you don't have 20 lugs.

20 lugs brings all the girls to the yard.

if by milkshake you mean something along the lines of having relations with drift groupies, then yes. i don't really know what milkshake means in 'hiphop language.'

it really is horrifying. i saw this disgusting hatchback at autozone a couple days ago, molded skirts, molded rear bumper, nice paint though with graphics (think graphics on F&F2 R34) and stock teardrops. i LMAO'd.

If you think that's bad, wait till you see honda's with wide body kits with stock steelies dropped so low showers of sparks fly from the car when it bounces all over town, looking like boats driving around town. The sad part, most if not all the hondas around here, are like that. I'm embarrased just looking at them.

Thats sad, I hate Honda so much. I like the stock Base model 4lug wheels but i want Z32 brake swap. Is it possible or will i have to go get some Se wheels or another aftermarket 5lug?

You will need atleast 16" wheels for the Z brakes, probabaly 17's, and with a good enough offset to clear them.

Z32 calipers will fit under 15" wheels. You don't NEEEEEEEEEEEED anything bigger, it's just recommended. However you do NEEEEEEEEEEEED a good backspacing on a 15" wheel which is easier said than done.

If I were 5 lug I wouldn't be blessed with these babies.
