4 lug brake upgrade

is there anyway to upgrade the brakes without going to five lug, i like my rims too much to switch to five.

You can fit 300zx brakes without a problem you just have to have the rotors drilled out by a machine shop for your lug pattern. It usually costs $25 per rotor.

If you go with the 300zx brakes just make sure that your wheels have enough backspacing so that the 300zx brakes will fit. If they don't fit you can use a 5mm spacer. Anything more than a 5mm spacer you will need longer wheel studs.

Another (cheaper) alternative is to go 180sx brakes. These fit inside the stock s13 wheels so they will fit inside your rims.

Also if you are not really tracking the car look into a good set of pads and stainless lines and it might offer the performance gain you are looking for. Bigger brakes just means less brake fade from repeated use.

i have a +35 offset will that be enough for the 300zx brakes

how close are your spokes to your calipers right now, offset doesnt have too much to do with caliper fitment. How big are the rims and how wide?

not very close at all my rims make my brakes look retarded, i have the 5zigen fn10r-c 17x8 +35, the brakes look rediculously small

Yeah, the cheapest and best looking route would be to get z32 brakes and get the rotors redrilled to 4 lug.
