Our car's aftermarket rim/wheel choices suck. Width is too small and offset is too much.
I'm starting to push someone to make BRONZE and GUNMETAL rims with a staggered setup:
17x8 +20 in front17x9 +25 in rear
IDEAL setup for our cars, and no one makes rims in this size unless you pop down at least a couple g's.
there's no reason why an "affordable" u.s. or japanese company can't make these. there is an absolutely huge demand for it because rims in this size do not exist. the 5zigen fn01cr's are the only thing close but they are 17x7 +35 and 17x8 +35, which is too small of a width (7" rim? 8" largest in back? give me a break) and the offset still gives the car a somewhat sunken in look.
i'd be willing to spend a grand on some bronze 5zigen's with that exact same width/offset. why aren't they out there?
it should also come in same width/offset combo but in an 18" version.
why doesn't it exist? there's no reason than it can't. the same width/offsets should ALSO be in 5lug because even for 5lug owners the rim choices for our cars are inadequate.
can we make a move and get this thing going? im sick of 7" rims and more than a 35+ offset.
4-lug 240sx's need better rim choices!!!!!!

Hey mynismo (are you Mark from ohionissans?), look at the thread made about the 5-lug swap. I can't remember what forum it was in. Called easier 5-lug.....something. It's a very nice alternative to the Z32 swap. That way you can have blingin 5 lug wheels

either that size or 17x8+29 and 17x9+29, my friend has that in 5lug on his s14 but they are volks.
you would be able to fit 225's on the front and 255's on the back for a PERFECT stance.
lets do it!!! please!!! im in. count me purchaser no. 1.
