OK this may sound funny, but I was at a customizing show here in town the other day and he tried to get me to get rid of my sony 10 disc changer which is still factor and 11 years old, never in a million years. But he brought up an Idea I thought I'd pass along. Removing the back seat completely, adding panelling to the back to cover for the trunk. Putting 2 more front seats from a 91 Q in back on cut rails, fitting in the seat controls on the door panels, and adding a center armrest that has a DVD Screen attatched. Bad Idea. He gave me an est of how long and how much. Time wise after ordering parts (if they are still avail) 4-6 weeks. Cost $6700. I'm thinking about it unless I hear the negatives..... Marlon 91 Q

Save the $6700 towards maintenance and performance mods. Who cares about making whoever's in the back more comfortable, it's nice enough back there already!

I agree with you 911/Q45. Get a full size Detroit van and outfit it with the largest LCD if you want to watch movies while travelling on 4 four wheels.

Too bad Nissan never imported the LWB Presidents for the executive limo market. You can get all that and more in Japan.

Mmmm.. you'll find the step under the rear seat will mess up most of those ideas. The Rear seat sits on the floor, while the Front seats sit on rails.

I've travelled in the rear seat a couple of times, & they are absolutely great as they are. I think my rears are more comfy than the fronts! (mine is a 94)

Yes I do agree Chally, but do keep in mind, that your seats were erdesigned for comfort with the seats stitching aligning itself with the pressure points in the human body. My 91 seats are probably a bit more firm, and designed differently. Though I must admit, I am slightly jealous of the power headrests if you do have them.

Ya know...I have been thinkin about doin this to my '91 Q45 for the longest time. I would get rid of the rear bench and front 2 seats and get 4 '95 Q45 seats. I know a guy who can do the rear seats for about $500 (plus the cost of the seats). I also plan on getting rid of my MP3/DVD player and getting a full computer system. That system would mount inside a custom center console that would mold in with the from center console. Heh...I've even been tooling with the idea of getting rid of the huge gas tank and goin for 2 smaller fuel cells so i have space inbetween those for an Adire Audio Brahma 12" sub in a 2.5 ft3 ported sub box. With my Q45 I plan on going with a "generations" theme. I wanna do a '99 Q45 headlight conversion with 2k2 Q45 gatling-gun style projector headlights, '95 Q45 front and rear bumpers, 2k2 chrome 18" rims, and 2k2 tail lights. Oh...and a 2k2 steering wheel. Should turn out to be a nice mix! :D :D :D
