today when i cranked my car up to leave school the motor was only running on 3 cylinders i found out the number four cylinder wasnty working. so i got it to my house tested spark and its working strong and checked the plug on the injector and its pulsating like its supposed too. well last thing it could be is a dead injector. i forgot to pull the fuel pump fuse and let it run out of gas. well when i pulled the injector out and gas sprayed my eyes and burned like s**t. so i got all cleaned up came back outside and put another one in and after i put it in i noticed that the o ring was missing off the old injector so the little o ring fell in the intake and i started the motor up and that cylinder still isnt working did a compression test and it has enough compression! NEED HELP!!!

You could have a bad cable. Try changing the distributor

Check the injector and see what kind of resistance you get. Should be around 11 ohms. If you get less than 11, or an open circuit, or way more than 10 ohms, the injector itself is probably dead (or dying, it could be intermittent). I recently had my #2 injector that sometimes worked, sometimes not. Replaced with an injector from a '93 Altima, no problems since.

engines need: fuel, air, compression, and spark to run.

you have spark and fuel.

and you say you have compression

and you obviously have air to 3/4 cyl. then you should def. check out the o-ring. or cracked cyl?

okay so i went to crank it up this morning and it cranked up and all the sudden idle all the way up to 3,000 rpm and my foot wasnt on the gas so i pressed the gas and what do you know it ran on all cyl. but it would only idle for about ten seconds and shut off so while i was reving it up while standing in front of the car and i could hear a strong sucking noise in between the intake and head. so my guess now is blown intake gasket. oh my tps sensor bolt fell out andf the tps was off alot.

so i found the sucking noise. it cam from the o ring on the number one cyl. i replaced that. then i was leaking fuel from another o ring on the number four cyl. fixed it and i'm back up and running. tomorrow a new oild change and new spark plugs. thanks for the help nico members.!!!
