4 cylinder and 6 cylinder?

I was just on autotrader looking at 95 240s and some have 6 cyl. and other 4 cyl. do they make both or is this wrong info?

stock, the 240sx has only a 4 cylinder. you can swap a few turbocharged 6 cylinders into them

those with 6 cyl. are swaps most likely RB20 or RB25

on autotrader, i would venture to say typo. or someone trying to pull a fast one.people selling rb powered 240's are most likely going to try and sell them here,or other enthusiast forums.

call them up and ask what engine it has. if it is a ka24de, sr20det, or ca18det then it is 4 cylinder.

if it has an rb20det, rb25det, or rb26dett, then it is a 6.

Yeah, I'd guess typo, fraud or ignorance. Not necessarily in that order.

I'd bet an entire week's lunch money that 99.99% of the cars you're looking at on autotrader don't have anything other than a good ol' 4 cylinder KA.

when i was at my insurance place, they asked what car i had and they labled the se 240sx to have a 6cyl, as we all know that it a crock of ****. so i think that it might have done that automatically, but ignorance might play a large role in it.
