4.6l police interceptor swap.

V8 240sx? Sure! If either the chassis OR the engine is non-Nissan (i.e. SR20 in an RX-7 or LS1 in a 240sx), we've done it.

Killernoodle has started a 4.6 swap about 10 threads down. Hit him up on what needs to be done.

Custom custom and more custom... Hope you're comfortable with your fabrication and wiring skills. Sounds like a fun package though. What 5 speed will you be using? t-3650?

If I were going to use a 4.6 I'd use the all alum version in the Mark VIII or whatever model Mustang they came in. But the Marks are cheap.

Sn95 cobras had the alum 4valve 4.6 the problem is that the people with those motors want way too much for them. However honestly if you really work at it you can get those pi heads to flow a little air. Plus the iron block motors are a lot cheaper, parts wise as well as initial cost. Good luck to you sir no matter which way you choose to go.

Oh I won't be doing a swap anytime soon. If I did I'd use a regular SBC 350 or a Ford 302. I'm a big fan of cheap used and new parts. You simply can't beat the old Ford and Chevy motors for that. Add a really cheap single turbo and you can make a reliable 420 hp daily driver that makes over 300 ft lbs of torque by 2700 rpm all while keeping the stock EFI or TBI that it comes with.

That would be my recipe
