Headers make the exhaust nasty. Catman has 4-1 headers which make it buz something about 4-2-1 headers makes the sound different. My buddy has the full catman exhaust on a 98 with the full 3.5 swap and needs to run the stock muffler because it was horrid.

Check me if i'm wrong here, but doesn't the 4-1 refer to 4 cylinder pipes into 1? With that said, what bank of your Maxima has 4 cylinders?Still learning, --Mike

You are correct, sir. The headers for the max are 3-1, then they connect to the Y-pipe. The Y-pipe then connects to the front side of the catalytic converter. In essence, it would be 3-1, 3-1, then 2-1.
