Moving this over to the Murano forum, they should have a better idea there.

I own an iPhone 3g and had no problem syncing with my 2009 Murano. What steps did you follow?

I'm able to pair my iPhone 3G, but can't download the phonebook to the Murano. Cable is not compatible either to play tunes. Just downloaded and installed the new 3.o system. This defeats the whole purpose of handsfree. Have you heard or know of a compatible cable or an update to the Murano nav. system?

I read on the other MO forum that some users are having issues with the new iPod 3.0 update. It apparently causes more issues than it solves with MO compatibility. No word from Nissan yet. Seems a call to Nissan Customer Care is in order although you will probably have to wait for the update. Hopefully at zero or minimal cost.

If you look at this link: http://www.nissanusa.com/bluetooth/index.html you'll note on the chart that you can't transfer your phonebook. The only alternative is to manually input all the names and numbers. In fact none of the iPhones can transfer the phonebook. I suspect its probably apple crippling the bluetooth. Anyway, I hope it helps. If you have questions, I have an iPhone 3GS.

I found this out this weekend. I was unable to transfer the contact list, and it doesn't charge the Iphone either. It's actually a pretty useless connector for me now.

It will pair no problem, all contacts must be added "manually".
