Well as some of you know, my fiancee owned a 1995 RX7, but she has sold it last night for $10,400, what I was woundering if she got a good deal ?

1995 RX7 turboManual51K milesbody is in fantastic condition (no dents)

As for what my girl is getting, she has her eyes on a 2001-2 BMW 740IL or Audi A8 ..... Im trying to convince her to get the BMW/Infiniti SUV but well see.

What kind of moron buys a FD with 51k on it, ahhahah, must be a noob RX7 owner.

That car will need a rebuild and new turbos soon.

So yeah, you got off with a bargan.

Yea, its mine and my daily driver, even tho I consider the BMW a daily driver also.Right now, since she doesnt have a car I let her drive my G35, but when she gets her ride, she aint touching neither of mine. The reason she likes the 740IL is because she loves the way it looks, drivers and got all this extra s*** in it and its very comfy ride AND she can fit all 3 of our future kids in there :ylsuper

dam, I always wanted a 3rd gen rx7. They have the best look, lightest weight, and arw just plain evil with an ls1/t56 swap. sure the 1.3rotory is great, but not when they blow every 60k miles. there is a shop near me that specializes in these swaps, and I got to ride in one of em w/425hp w/his nos. ungodly fast...I guess Ill have to settle w/my 2nd gen for now, heh.

The engines only blow when people dont know how to take car of them. If you do what you need to do, they'll last a lot longer. Aries has showed us putting a V8 into a car that is really small makes it really fast, but the Rex should be more about handling and speed that just straight speed.

The 740 is a great car. You get what you pay for, ride, power, and luxury. her and your future brood will enjoy it.

I wouldn't ever put a v8 in a car that's not made for one, especially a japanese car. I don't really see the point and don't understand why anyone would even want it done

Actually they can and do last longer, but believe me... even those people that don't rag the cars every day, and have religious maintanance records have had the turbos go out at 30k and the motor needing a rebuild at 60k. It's just the nature of the beast.

If you cant appreciate the beuty of having 350ft/lbs of torque in a 2700lbs car, then you need to check out the clips on this site http://www.thewrongmotor.com.

This guy lives near me here in Huntsville. It is quite a site to see, and even better to ride in. Also, there is a shop near me also that specializes in putting v8s into the rx7s only, and I rode in one of their 425hp 3rd gens(425 before nos) and it was a freakin beast, plus you have GM reliability and every mechanic can work on it. Anyway, just my 2cent.
