Hello everyone. The light bulbs are brand new and the tail lights work fine. I found a tail lamp fuse in the dash fuse panel and its a good 10 a fuse. Non of the three brakelights light up when I depress the pedal. Im not sure what to do next. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

There is a brake switch activated by the brake pedal
The stem of the switch may not be extended completely for it to turn on
On the 4th gen you can adjust this easily by changing the distance
between the brake pedal and the switch

Do you know what this switch looks like and exactly where it is located? I tried to find it by following the pedal and pedal arm as far up as I can see and I dont see anything. Ive used a flashlight and looked on you tube and cant make any distinction. Thanks alot.

It's mounted on the bracket that the pedal hinges on and mounts to. Here's a picture:

thanks Mr Minister

Note one of the switches is for the "cruise control" or the ASCD

So be sure to adjust the correct one

Has anyone ever adjusted the ASCD switch?
