3rd brake light malfunction

My third brake light is only lighting up one bulb. The other three don't light up despite having good bulbs.

Any idea why and how to fix this?

Corrosion inside the sockets, broken connection in the loop somewhere. What have you checked already?

Admittedly nothing yet till I heard from you guys. But your reply makes sense and I'll check those things today.
