3M tape accessories

Looking at a few accessories on Ebay like door molding.

These affix by 3M tape. Any long term negative effects with the tape as it relates to paint corrosion etc etc

I have seen 3M tape used on many trim pieces including those provided by Nissan (ie. emblems, bumper protectors, wind deflectors). I have never experienced or seen any adverse effects from using 3M tape.

The emblems on many cars (not just Nissan) are held on with 3M tape.

on my audi, mitsubishi galant emblems were attached with black sticky like a gum glue. Same type of glue body shops are using to reattach the emblems so who knows if these 2 cars were in body shop before i bought them or they came like that from manufacture.

The emblems on my Dodge Ram were attached with the same type of tape. PITA to remove when 'debadging.' But I imagine that is a fairly common way for OEM's to attach them as well; since many of your cars and my previous car were the same way. Probably cheaper than the 3M stuff too.
