You can use either BG44K (Found at the dealer) or Redline S1 (Pepboys) as a fuel injector cleaner.

You can also use a tooth brush and brake parts cleaner to clean the throtlebody yourself.

Total cost:

BG44K+toothbrush+Brake Parts cleaner: ~$27

Redline S1+Toothbrush+Brake Part Cleaner: ~$17

Happy Holidays.

DO NOT touch the throttle body(bodies) on your G unless you want a new PCM and new throttle body (bodies).

If you move the butterfly at all it will get out of calibration and may not be able to be recalibrated.

I cleaned (followed the 3M instructions came on DVD also) G35 coupe engine with "3M Do-It-Yourself Fuel System Tune-Up #8963" it works great and it has improved mileage by 10% and the car runs much better and cleaner- I have 1003564 miles on the 2003 G35 coupe.

I can feel the power difference too...besides the improved sound too.

Nothing happened to the butterfly (it's clean as new).... mileage is almost 25 miles/gal, the tail pipe soot also disappeared...as a side benefit.

I am going to use same product on 2005 FX45 too... at about $40 it's a bargain and easy to use....took about half an hour on G35coupe.

Thanks for your input.
