38mm or 44mm?! Which one to buy?

Alright guys. I am about a week away from finally getting out of Iraq, god willing. I'm looking to order the last few parts here and I'm a bit undecided. First thing first, wastegates. Im running a bottom mount mani with a GT3071R but it is internally wastegated. I don't want to jerry rig the WG open so I'm thinking I will switch mani's to either a peakboost top mount or a fullrace both of which are flanged for a wastegate, or two. The goal is to either swap the housing on the 3071 to get rid of the internal WG or to step up to either a 3076 or GT35. I want to run a consistant 22-25lbs of boost. For this type of set up what size wastegate would you all recommend and even more importantly what spring rate?? Also does anyone here know how large a turbo you can go top mount with and not run into hood clearance issues? Should have no problems with something like a GT35 right?

Probably the 44 and you won't really have to worry about boost creep.

Or maybe a 50mm, cuz you want to boost so high.
