I'm concerned about boost creep, since you'll be diverting only one runner's worth of exhaust. While it will be pressurized, I'm not sure how much it'll help.

Let us know how it goes.

Agreed, thats the worst way to control boost. The flange that it comes with stock is a T2 BTW. T2 encompasses the T2, T25 and T28 flanged turbo's.

The idea is definitly a good one though. I'm anxious for these to start performing so we all know how they do.

Cool idea. I think the wg would be perfect on the 4th runner because the 1st runner is directed at it.

Also dont forget to slot between the head bolts for thermal expansion.

4th runner WG adaptation....

I didn't slot mine. If you look closely at the manifold, you find that the stud holes in the head flange are already wallowed out to allow for the expansion.

ok this is kind of off topic but is t2, t25, and t28 the same flange? Because a friend of mine has a s12 with a blown t2 and is having trouble finding a turbo that will fit.

Yea, basically any turbo that starts with a T2XX or GT2XXX is all the same on the exhaust side. The compressor side could be different, but not often. The T2 turbo isn't one to be swapped around too much. Or at least that's my understanding. There are a few company's that offer a T3 housed GT28RS, but you wont find any of that hybrid stuff on a stock vehicle if he's just looking to replace something factory-like.

Someone chime in if I got something screwed up.... it's 4am here
