i am looking for a z in roughly 3-4 years, but with a starting price of $37,000 for the 350hp?

and the entry level z with an i4, supposedly 250z?? so no more a/c? http://forums.roadandtrack.com...=2129

what are your thoughts?

well I guess it would depend what direction they are gonna take the coupe...i cant see them selling two fwd coupes around the same price range, maybe give the A/C awd and up the hp so it could compete with the wrx, and evo in performance and price or make it take the place of the sentra? who knows , anyone else with some feedback?

and base msrp for the 370z 37k WOW! imo i think that will decrease sales for people that want a Z. I dont think I would want a i4 fwd Z, its just not the same..especialy if they use the exact same body style

wow that is a pretty interesting article.

I think it is a good idea and a bad idea. I dont think i like the fact of a slow z.Im in the market for a z or a g in the next few years.

they didnt say anything about the i4 being fwd, it could be rwd.

Up the hp to comepete with an evo or wrx?

I hope you are talking about upping the hp of the 3.5 and not the 2.5.

entry level 25k 2011 Z would hit the Altima Coupe sales numbers in a wicked way and would probably be the end of the Altima Coupe. There really wouldn't be any purpose for the car and Nissan might as well change the name to 200SX. Oh well, doesn't really bother me too much because when 2011 rolls around I'll have had my coupe for over three years and will be ready to start another project. Actually, prolly much sooner than 2011.

You're forgetting an very important aspect. The Z doesn't have rear seats. Though many of you don't use your rear seats, it will still be a selling point for some.

The extra room and the fact that I like the curves better on the G are what made me get it instead of that stupid $15k Z that some used car salesman tried to sell me.

$7k for better styling (my opinion) and peace of mind.

Peace of mind was for the extra seats AND buying a car with a 70k mi power train warranty and 15k worth of bumper to bumper. Who knows what was wrong with that Z?
