I have been working on my wifes car for about 2 months now, setting it up for a mild turbo kit. On my cars i have only used 50 and 72 lb injectors with top feed setups. They work great, but when i tried this 370cc deal with my wifes car, i ran into some serious issues. First, i bought some tt injectors for a 93 tt. Wifes is a 96 se ka-t. These injectors that i bought had brown tops, and square caps,a dnthey were too tall to fit in the ka rail. Come to find out, these 370cc injectors most likely are from a n/a 300zx. SO i got screwed. I spoke to another freind-a NISSAN MASTER TECH!!!!, and he told me that the j30 injectros used 370cc, and i could use those. So i bought em and come to find out, when we put the JWT ecu back in the car, it ran like crap, because the j30 uses 280CC INJECTORS!!!! so i got screwed again-but i got my cash back form the second set. Now , then i talked to jeff at heavy throttle. He told me that it was strange that they had brown caps because the sr injectors and all the nissan 370cc injectors he uses, have purple plug caps. SO i bought a set of s13 sr injecotrs form him today. This is hopefully the answer to my problems. THE ONLY THING IS i am concerned that i will run into another road blockbecasue these are s13 injectors, adn my car is an s14. IF there is anyone out there who has done this, and knows somehting i dont know, but need to know, please tell me. This downtime is killing me and my wife is getting discouraged. Help me out guys.

thanks in advance.-JOSH

Your good man...it doesn't matter if they are S13's...should plug right in and be fine, if I remember right thats exactly what your ecu is tuned for isnt it? It's quite a common setup, I dont think you'll have any more suprises!

How much did the set run you from Jeff?

Well, The setup on the ecu is for 370cc injectors, but not specifically ones from a sr or a vg. I dont know how jeff feels about me telling the price he gave me, but they were from his stock motor, and they were 130 shipped 2 day air.

That's a reasonable price, seems middle of the road for what I've seen them go for :) If the setup is for 370cc injectors then you'll be just fine. As long as they are high impedance side feeds (they are) it wouldn't matter if they were made by a different company even than the ones Jim Wolf originally tuned it for...they will work identically :) Besides, I'm certain he actually tuned for the SR or 300zx injectors...and knowing nissan parts interchangeability habits, they will both work just fine and have been proven to work fine before. Let us know how they work!

The 300ZX(Z32) TT injectors are the 370cc versions. They have a purple top and work perfect with a JWT ECU that is set up for them. The red top versions are 270cc injectors that come stock in the KADE motors. They are not enough for a turbo set up except that F-Max setup that has no intercooler and uses a rising rate fuel pressure regulater. I think even with that system, you are limited to about 5 psi before you go too lean.
