I have a set of 370cc injectors from a TT that I want to put in my N/A. I have a piggy back computer to adjust the air fuel ratios and such and make sure dentonation doesn't occur. I know the stock fuel pump can handle 400hp in an N/A per Z1motorsports, so I don't need a booster pump or new in tank.

My question is, does timing or anything else need to be adjusted before I drop these in?

Is there a way to tell, if they are not working. My mechanic before on my N/A injectors just heard a cylinder wasn't firing right, I dunno how.

Anything else I'm missing, let me know

I'm pretty sure you need to reflash the ECU on the NA to run the 370's.

so basically pick up a TT ecu?

Next summer I plan to run the Z in for new 8.5:1 pistons for running any boost. So can I just run a TT ecu now with my N/A engine, 370cc injectors, and wastegate boost turbos?

Note: I have a lot more parts for the application not listed

Question basically is can I run the combination above safely?

You will have to reflash the ECU or somehow compensate for the 37% extra fuel... the ECU isnt gonna do it automatically...

I also dont think running a TT ECU will work, as itd still run super rich under high load.. Its expecting boost!!!

on another note, its gonna bea real PITA to get it to work when you dont really need it...... Dont put those injectors in, itd be a lot easier to replace 1 or 2 injectors from the N/A and then swap the injectors when you really need more fuel.

As I mentioned in the very opening post, I have an apexi piggy back fuel computer, I can temper the fuel curve however I please. I was simply asking if that would be enough. I know the ECU is not that smart, heck I don't trust it normally.

The reason I brought up the TT ecu at all is because nsrz32 said I should reflash it, even after I mentioned I would be able to control the air fuel ratio and make it run safe. I wondered why.

Is there something more besides the rich condition and the pressure in the lines (It WILL be enough for the new injectors), I have already planned those two. That is all I have been asking. If so, what else am I missing.

I was asking possibly if some crap with timing or other systems would need to be adjusted, true or not?

really for something like this youd have to ask someone that knows the ECUs very well..... The fuel rails are the same, so thats fine, but i cant answer your question about the timing and stuff...

youd probably want to look at a Q45 timing curve since its N/A and has 370cc injectors.

Well I shall ask anyone else out there, do you know if there will be any issue than the ones covered above should I drop 370cc injectors in my N/A with an Apexi fuel computer governing the air fuel curve?

If I knew how to deal with timing elwesso I'd be very happy. Do you suggest any material on how to learn how to properly tune timing, replace the belt after a rebuild, etc. ? I would be most grateful since my knowledge only goes so far on the Z right now.
