What is the max efficient boost that is possible for the stock sr injectors to run with a s15 t28 turbo? I have searched but found nothing that is suiting my question. I am setting a goal of 300-350rwhp and am not sure on how much the stock injectors can hold.

Thanks in advanced.

i believe the stock fuel system is good for 10-12 psi i think the t28's efficiency limit is around 15psi

yeah the t28 (according to HT) can handle 15-18, but I didn't think the stock injectors could handle it, shoot i dunno if the fuel rail can handle it either

thanks for your help and input

no I don't, I am deciding on a set up for the up comming spring when I buy my stuff. I will be getting a s13 redtop and buying a t28.

I know I dont' have my motor yet, but its always a good idea to be prepared I think.

a daily driven 300-350 rwhp drifter

reason why i mentioned drifter is cause I feel the necessity for a broader powerband, thats why I want to get a BB Turbo thats medium size to small sized.

in my opinion i would get 550cc injectors and possibly a fuel rail for that kind of power

With stock 370 injectors..I say max is 10 psi. Phase2 don't even recommending going over stock boost with the T28 on stock 370cc injectors. Your best bet is to monitor everything carefully with stock injectors. Don't forget a fuel pump upgrade.

Is a new fuel rail really needed? What is the stock one good for?

I can hardly see how a new fuel rail is needed for 550's, the stocker should be just fine to 350WHP if not more. I know plenty of people using the stock rail without issues pushing close to those numbers.

I made 2 runs while using the datalogging function on the conzult system.

i got 98% injector duty cycle @ 0.9bar boostIt stayed at 98% all the way to 6000rpmI couldnt go above 6000rpm as i was doing the run in 5th gear and had to slow down for other traffic

I made another run with 1 bar boost.I got 100% duty cycle when i was still under 5000rpm.

S14 sr20det all the usual mods with stock t28 stock fuel pressure and 370cc's

Theres plenty of fuel rails available, GReddy makes one I believe as well as Heavy-Throttle; they have a custom one which is suppose to be good. But keep in mind, most of them are top feed rather then the stock side rails.

HKS makes one for top mount injectors, the Border one is nice as well. JGY Customs in Virginia also makes a top mount that is nicely priced.

The stock fuel rail is capable of 400 RWHP+....there is a guy running 850cc injectors in the stock rail in Okinawa. No real need for an upgraded fuel rail except for looks.
