370 Z Trasnmission problem...

I just purchased the new z (6 speed) and when shifting gears seems to be grinding with something like metal. I also hear weird noises that are not consistant. I took it to the dealer and they say it shifts the way it supposed to but I feel different. Does anyone offer advice?

I'd take it to a different dealer

You might also test drive another one, and see if it does the same thing.

Have you owned a Z before?

I don't know how the transmission on the 370 is but, I do know in that in the 350's, the transmission isn't butter smooth. Like that of a Honda S2000. I agree with the above post, test drive another 370Z and see how that transmission behaves.
