I see it pulling out of a residential area, I see it all the time, beautiful black 95 Q base model, piepans and all.

Paint is too perfect, must have been repainted....pull alongside the pass side, inspect....hmmm...looks straight....pull along the driver side....straight as an arrow there, too.

At the light I pull up next to a 50+/- year old woman wearing blu-blockers and say;

(Me) "Nice car. 94 or 95?"

(Her) "95"

(Me) "May I give you my number in the event you decide to sell it?"

(Her) "It's not for sale, 36,000 miles." She says with a smile.

(Me) "Then please let me give you my number in case you decide to sell it in the future, mine has 170,000 miles & is getting a little tired."

(Her) :wavey

Dammm-it!

That's ok, I'll catch up to her again.

someone needs to call the 800 infiniti number and see if the west palm one is being dealer maintained.... if so, you could have a winner here. Although...there is no indication how much they want.....

1995 didn't come with pie pans - only turbine and BBS forged. Hmmmm.

I'd like to see the top of the steering wheel, it's not visible (unlike the rest of the steering wheel) in any of the pics, AND the passenger rear seat looks rather worn for 55k.

A car-seat in direct contact with the leather could do it in much less than 55K miles.

Good "conclusion" as that's where it would be and it would be there for a couple years straight, at least.

Heavy D, Just hire a hitman to pop a cap in her, and buy the car from her estate. Just kidding. Yea that would be a nice one to have. She's old. Keep checing the obituaries.

FYI, my dad's 95Q he owned came with BBS forged and he hated them. He had the dealer replace them with the piepans.

Jason, you know you've lost your game when you can't even get any play from a South Florida bluehair.

Hang it up, man. Hang it up.

natsoundup....thanks for the history report on the 94 Q45t....it does sound like a nice car. I wish I had the monies and I would sell my black car and get this one in a heart beat. I have always wanted the pearl white color and this 94 t model should have the HICAS I think that my car does not have

If anybody is serious....let me know and I will check it out this weekend.

Greg - He said she was "50 +/-", in South Fla, that's not bluehair(=old). And she was pimping a Q, so she's got style.

Now if we were on Wes' Caddy forum, this would be a completely different conversation.

I am pretty interested in it!!! I sold my 92Q with 165K miles (I had replaced the motor and updated the chain guides) about a month ago and have been driving my wifes 99 I30 ever since (I got her a new Honda Pilot), the I30 is nice but it is no Q that is for sure.

I have been bidding on several 94 and later Q's on E bay ever since (my E bay ID is icemanhd). An interesting trend I have noticed is that several cars have gone off e bay with reserve met then magically reappeared. There was a 2000 Anniv Edit in Dallas, and more recently the 96Q in Florida with 80K miles just reappeared, in both cases the high bidder had zero feedback.

This 94 looks clean and I love the dealer maintenance history, anyone remember what VIN number the updated chain guides cut in 94? I can't bear to go through that again!

Thanks in advance,icemanhd

Ha! If she's in her 50's according to actuarial tables she probably has another 40 years before her estate sale. You'd be "old" by the time you ever got to bid on that car.

Welcome icemanhd to the board! Were you on before under a different ID?

I think palmerwmd knows of a 1994 with the old guides, but otherwise, they were all updated, including some late 1993, but it gets a lot more dicey there.

Icemanhd.....email through the forum tonight with a number to contact you back at and I will go look at it Saturday or Sunday. Having the dealer records all being in Florida is a rare find with this low of miles on it.

Whhoooaaa!!!! Who dare say that dreaded word "actuarial tables" I don't know of many people who even understand the word "actuarial" .......Guess What...I am one of those "actuaries" and I don't hear anything about my profession mentioned in public. The best is that when somebody asks what I do for a living...and I reply "actuarial manager" they go "ohh okay sounds good" and then my next question is "do you know what that is"..99% of the time I get "no, never heard of that profession"

just keep in mind one thing.... during a 3 year period the car only was driven 6k miles... I don't know what that does to all of the internal fluids/seals... during its earlier days all of the service marks were hit on target.

I would like to see oil change records on it..... others could probably weigh in on what the internals might look like if oil was only changed once a year....

besides that....I would have been seriously interested if I didn't buy my IPQ in October... I bet no one hits the dealers reserve....

he probably wants 8-9k for the car.

I was on the board before under the same ID and was somewhat active 2 years ago. I traded quite a few e mails with palmerwmd (Fred) and a few others. That was when my went through my whole chain guide issue on my 92Q. I had found a place in Los Angeles that had very clean Japanese take out motors for $1600, and had them install one in my 92 and update the chain guides. The whole bill was about $3200 including new gaskets, plugs, belts. If anyone is still interested I still have all the info on "CNS Motors" in Santa Ana, CA.

I moved from Palmdale, CA to Wichita last September.

RSWICKI - I am definitely interested in the 94Q, the big question is how much will it go for/what is the reserve. I hate for you to make a special trip to check it out for me as it may never meet reserve or could end up going off for $10K. Many of you remember the 95 or 96 with 60K miles on it that went off on e bay for $8800, I would hope this one would go for less!!!

The 2 e bay Q's that reappeared after previously being sold are item numbers2473713615 96Q in Hollywood, FL with 80K miles, went off for $8780 on Apr 11th, now back on 2473207980 2000 Anniv edition in dallas with 65K miles (went off for $17,800 reserve met about a week ago)

icehand....maybe it would be best to contact the seller to find out the reserve and then if everything is good to tell them I will be coming for a visit. This weekend will probably work out best as WestPalm is about an hour North of Miami and I have the G35 loaner car as my Q is still at the dealer

rsiwicki - Great input, I'll contact the seller and see if I can get a feel for the reserve.

I had a G35 loaner a couple of weeks ago when I had my wifes I30 in for service (somehow I cant get used to calling it "my I30") it was a screamer, nice stiff suspension plenty of pep. It was much better than the G35 loaner I had a couple of years ago...

Just got off the phone with "Progressive Motors", he didn't give me the reserve price exactly but said they have the car on the lot for $9900 and they usually put the reserve about $1000 less so lets say $9K. I ran both Kelley and Edmuds trade in and private party values Trd Priv Part RetailKelley 4225 6215Edmnds 6186 7349 9229

So if reserve is $9K and shipping will be about $650 to Kansas the car would end up being over retail for edmunds... Pretty pricey although it is in phenomenal shape! My wife will shoot me for buying another Q but that is ok I have been shot many many times before. All things considered $9K sounds high for a 94 doesn't it? The maintenance history is worth a lot to me but my dilemma is I would be buying this as a 3rd car and then selling my wifes 99 I30 with 47.5K miles on it......

If it's everything you want, and has been well-maintained, $9K is not unreasonable for that car.

High if it's an AVERAGE Q, but I think you could offer $8K CASH and get it.

Oops, maybe they were turbines, when moving, they look like 84 Corvette wheels, solid dish in the center, flat.

I'm going to find her at the Publix on day, slip my card in the window.

I agree with Hitman....A car like this does not come around often with documented dealer service and located in Florida with only 2 owners (both in the same family). Also I think that those Kelly Blue books are nice guide, but after 5 years of age on a car there are too many variables that affect a cars overall value and those figures stated are the average so some cars will sell above & others lower than the indicated value.

If you are financing the car..then that might be an issue as many banks will not lend monies on a car over 8 years old (at least not at a decent rate). Dealerships usually have special financing arranged through banks for cars like this that a regular consumer could not arrange for by walking into the bank from the street.

Either way....let me know if you are seriously considering it and I will go check it out.

This is the one that would scare me more than anything... IPQ is a very difficult color to match up perfectly. I'd sure like to know what was done before making an offer.
