Interesting...I just looked at the Specs. The Halo edition has only the 20 gig HDD, BUT it also come with the Elite's HDMI out.

I definitely don't regret paying the old price for my Elite. Lower price doesn't help me if I can't find one.

I've heard on some gaming forums that MS confirmed the premiums are being produced with HDMI now. So you essentially pay $50 extra to have a halo themed box. Kind of like the Halo2 headset that used to cost some $50-$70, while you can pick up the same plantronics headset for $20 without the halo theme.

Well if the Elite was $100 cheaper, it might have been worth the wait, but not for $30.

Anyone paying that much for an HDMI cable is getting ripped. Monoprice.com my friend. And if you're in CA, you can get overnight shipping pretty darn cheap.

However, it would make sense to me for them to include the HDMI cable since they are with the Elite.
