Yea, no lie either. My fiance and I drove down to Oklahoma on Friday for her brothers wedding. I changed a few settings on the SDS EM4-F as we were leaving and drove conservatively (stayed under 70mph, and kept it in closed loop going up hills). We've driven down there before and it took a full tank of gas to get down there and I got about 27mpg. This time I only used about 2/3 of a tank of gass and got an incredible 35 miles per gallon. My stock ecu was never able to do that!edited due to Tim's complaining that my previous statement was untrue

by keeping it in closed loop, meaning you made sure the O2 sensor info was being used to adjust fuel? or am i all messed up?

dude, the stock ecu can difinitely do that. i regularly get over 40mpg on my drives from huntsville to auburn for school. its a 250mi drive and i can usually make it on ~6 gallons. ive got a factory (unsocketed) ECU. dont believe me? ill be more than happy to prove it.

Exactly. That's closed loop.

LOL, sorry man, we were only down there for part of the day. We go down there every few months or so, I'll have to let you know next time we're headed that way. He lives in Guthrie (near Edmond)

I believe you Tim, don't get all up in a huff man! I just never got any better than the upper 20's on the stock ECU, regardless of how conservatively I drove.

I have an Innovate motorsports wideband, and with it I'm able to program the outputs. What I'm thinking about doing is fooling the ECU into thinking it's richer than it is when it's in closed loop so that I can get even better mileage.

I need to get to the dyno first though...

I'm getting 24mpg mixed city/hwy (as in, most of my city driving is ON the highway..) but I've still got a few minor issues to stamp out (cold starts are a *****!) and I've got upgraded injectors with nothing more than a guesswork rom tune :D
