35mm offset wheels on 06 m35x?

Isn't the offset of the stock wheels 45 or something? Would 35s be tucked in to the fender more?

To some extent depending on the style, some wheels have spokes that stick out beyond the outer lip.

I just picked up an m35x and was looking at some 18x8 35mm offset rims. Did you (or anyone else) actually mount these? Do they work and look ok?
These are the exact rims I'm looking at.

i got 9.5 inch +35 rims and they do poke out from fender atleast 4-5mm... an 8 inch rim with +35 offset would stick out a half inch more than the factory rims.
