35K Rev limit 4th and 5th

Ok, so ive got a 90 fb with about 220 on the od. It been running GREAT!! until lately. I noticed my speedo started being inconsistent, and the od stopped turning. Then it dropped to 0 mph and the engine light came on, it was doing this on and off for a while till it just stayed @ 0. That’s not all… In 3rd 4th and 5th I cant rev over 4k!!!! That tops me out @ about 70MPH on the freeway… not good. I tried all sorts of stuff like cutting the yellow and green speed limit wire, disconnecting the connecter that runs from the transmission up by the starter, and I removed the gauge cluster disconnected it and re-installed… no luck! Please help!!!

its in failsafe since it has no idea how fast your going. If it doesnt know it it throws in the failsafe speed limiter. You need to replace your speedo.
