351w in a 240

Has anyone ever did this? I have a 87 mustang with a 351w in it and needs a new body, and yet i have a 240 which needs a new motor, so im going to do the swap, Anyone know of any walkthroughs on this?

Its been done with a few 302 motors, counless LS swaps, a 12cyl BMW motor, 13bs, 2jz's, VK56's, Ford Modulars... so yeah..... it can be done.

I'm not a ford guy, but I have a built 347 stroker in the basement. Havent messed with windsors but I have with clevelands.

Go to the hyrbid section. If the mounting locations are the same as a 302 it may not be so hard.

i think its very heavy compared to 5.0 or 350

Well the 351w and 302 are similiar motors, 302 is i think 8.2 and 351 is 9.5, other than that its all just internally different

Oh if they are externally same now thinking the motor downstairs has windsor junior heads on it lol, you can do it. The 302 is an easier swap then the LS series. Just check out the hybrids and ask the for swapped guys.
