350z wheels.... cracked?

Alrighty guys need some help here. Found these on Craigslist (http://toronto.en.craigslist.ca/tor/pts/1108297099.html) and have been looking at getting 350z rims for a while now. To my disappointment one of them has small hairline cracks in the spoke. Anyone know anything about this? I'm thinking it can't be good. When I asked if they were driveable the guy said "The rims are very drivable, they are not warped in any way". Is this maybe just in the finish? I'm guessing that if it's in the metal it would not be a good idea to drive on it.
