I recently purchased a set of the 5 spoke 350z wheels (thanks Watermelonwarrior ). They have some curbing and paint peeling on the wheels and I am planning on getting them fixed and refinished. Does anyone have any ideas or thoughts on what might look good. I was thinking either getting them polished or powdercoated a dark gunmetal color but always interested in other perspectives that I haven't thought of. Just trying to get some ideas thrown out there. I do not want to switch wheels I bought these because I like them so please don't suggest that lol. I will buy some nicer ones after suspension and driveline are done. Anyone w/ some mad photoshop skillz wanna mess with it go ahead here is a pic of how it sits now.

_

P.S. I know it needs lowered and it will be before I do anything to the wheels lol.

I would but one of the wheels has the finish flaking. It looks like it is a 2 stage powdercoat. I wonder if I could find someone to do it that would get the color right?

zer...age=1

Anyways OP, I say leave them the same color/finish or get something done that's really close, definately not a dark color. That combo of polished and gray on the kouki looks great.

my vote is polished, anything darker would just blend in with the color of the car.

Thanks for the link Ditto. That car is one of the reasons I decided on these wheels.

Hey man glad my little photoshop helped you make a decision, I always have to photoshop major changes before I actually do them to the car to be sure I can live with it...I look at it for like a week and if I still like it then I go forward with it...but thats just me...LOL
