okay, whats better, if i had 15,000 dollars i can either A. get a N/A 350z B. get a 300zx tt for 10,000 and mods worth of 5,000 to make it faster or C. get a 240sx s13 worth 4,000 and 11,000 dollars worth of mods which is crazy lol. but i wanna know if a 350z is really worth the money; becuase as you can see i can get a 240 or a 300 and use the rest of the money to make it better. and thats rebuilding the engine, swap it, or anything from inside out

Welcome. The answer is an obvious yes, a 350z is worth the money. Compared to it's competition, it's a performance bargain. But if you posed this question on a Honda site, you might get another answer. As far as which of the 3 is the best, it's different for everyone. Depends on what you're looking for. Each has it's strengths/weaknesses.All 3 are great .For example, the S13 is cheap to buy, insure (not considered a sports car by insurance companies), cheapest to operate (4cyl vs V6), repair. It's also roomy inside for what is. You touched on it's downside. The risk of investing a lot of money into a non-collectibe fully depreciated car is significant. You're one minor fender bender away from having it totalled. You're also dealing with an old car so be prepared for things wearing out that would not normally wear out on a newer car like a 350Z. (things like power window motors, heater cores, clutch slave cylinders, struts, etc.)

The 300zxTT, is the luxury car of the group. Heavy, luxurious, roomy. It's becoming more difficult to find an unmolested one which is important as they are considerably more expensive to fix than an S13. You don't want to buy a beat one. They're fast cars stock, so modding them immediately is not really necessary (as compared to the underpowered S13 which is necessary). but it's the same deal with buying older cars. You're buying a car that will likely need things replaced soon. You're jumping into a bigger league going from an S13 to a 300ZX TT. That's not to say they're not worth it. Very desireable cars if you can afford to keep them maintained right. Not a good car to skimp on maintenance.

The 350Z is pretty much the turnkey sports car. Plenty of torque, nice handling.. They are plentiful so you can get them for a good price. If you're looking to mod it you're dealing with a great NA base platform to work off of. The downside to them is they're strictly 2 seats, have limited luggage room, and have a somewhat jarring ride (at least with the 18" wheels)

If you're looking for an inexpensive commuter/autocross car, the S13 is a fine choice. Go on long trips? the 300ZXTT would be better. Want to run to the track (one with turns) on weekends without investing a dime? Hard to beat a 350Z.

Hope that helps.

Like Bubba said it depends on what your looking for or planning on doing.I've drivin all of them and own a sr 240 and a 350z. If you plan on some drifting get a 240. If you want a really fast drag like car get a 300zx tt. If you want a great auto-x type car go with a 350z.
