350z vs. 3.5 altima

Like some others with sense have said. Just b/c it a sedan doesn't mean you have this locked up. He may even take you. I had a modded 3rd gen sedan which was very quick. I never raced from a dig, but i took 2 z's and G35 on the highway. I didnt have headers either.

Im curious to see the results..

Keep in mind most FWD drivetrains experiance less Hp loss to the wheels. And the driver is 50% of the race. I had a built TRD S/C TC that would run 14.0 in the 1/4 on cheep street tires. But I was a great driver, my reaction times where 0.010, rarely redlight. My 60ft was at times faster that STI, EVO, SRT4 (slicks). Not saying you cant beat him, but it might not be as easyas you thought.Note: Wheel hop is a big factor on FWD, check and see if he has a engine torque damper, helpped the TC ALOT. Dont do a roll start.

the new altima 3.5 and maxima 3.5 would be really close to beating the Z. the altima coupe 3.5 are pretty quick.

Slower or faster I'd still pik the Z over the A/C. Just the drivetrain itself far more exiting. If I would go with front wheel drive Most likely would be a Cobalt ss.

do the best thing you can, get r comp tires, challenge him to a time attack run. if you can drive that race is in the bag. if you cant well whatever lol.
