I plan to do a manual swap on my 350Z but want to keep the original TCM and AT wiring. What do I need to do with the wiring? In my city, reverse lights are required, which is giving me a headache because I know I will lose the reverse lights after switching to a manual transmission. I hope someone can answer these questions; I'm completely clueless about this wiring.

There's no need to retain the TCM just to get backup lamps. Refer to LT-177 and LT-178 here:
https://www.nicoclub.com/service-manual ... 3%2Flt.pdf

That's for an '03, but later MY's just have some different wire colors. The setup is identical. The TCM grounds the coil of the backup lamp relay to turn the lights on. To make that work with an M/T, rewire Yellow/Red on the reverse switch to go to Pink on the relay, and rewire Orange on the reverse switch to ground. Then when the reverse switch turns on, it will ground and activate the relay coil just like the TCM.

Thank you for your response. So, following your method, I dont need the TCM anymore right? During the manual swap process, in terms of circuitry, I only need to reset the wiring for the Clutch Interlock Switch and the backlamp, and then it's basically done, correct? Regarding the backlamp, combined with your replies in other posts, I think I have found the correct location. I’ve attached a simple diagram and hope you can confirm it for me. These two connectors are actually right next to each other, right? I have a rough idea that they should be under the passenger side, but I’m not sure if what I’m saying is correct. I apologize for constantly checking with you; I know nothing about car circuitry, but I’ve been trying to learn about it recently.

The first thing which would help is the year of your ride. As I mentioned, there are differences in wire colors and may also be differences in the SMJ connections.

The M/T switch won't care how you wire it, one side just needs to go to ground and the other side to the relay coil. To route it through the SMJ, you want to splice to terminal 23H Yellow on either M15 or E108, whichever is easier to get to. There are no worries about what's hooked to the other end because the TCM won't be there anymore. The WD's are on LT-98 thru LT-101 here:
https://www.nicoclub.com/service-manual ... 7%2Flt.pdf

The SMJ layouts are on PG-81 here. Note that the views are "terminal side", so you need to mirror them when looking from the back side where the wires enter:

Correction, I read that wrong. The SMJ connector pair you want is M72 to F102. The rest is right.

I live in Japan, and the laws regarding changing gearboxes here are relatively strict. I want to ask, if I modify my AT ECU data to MT and then reinstall it, while disconnecting the TCM, will it work? If it works, what problems might I face? Do I also need to bypass the clutch switch, and for the reverse lights, should I connect the wires the way you mentioned?

Yes, that should work. Same procedure on pretty much any car, you need ECM software which will no longer expect to hear from the TCM on CAN, then reconfigure the backup lamp and interlock circuits.
