Ok, i just installed a Vortech SUpercharger for a friend but we have serius problems, first we thought it was a wiring issue since it was originally crimped on but now we soldered it and problem continues, it would help if u knew wut the issue was well here it is, after we did install car ran AWESOME no CEL nothing, but after restart it wouldnt rev past 1.5k without a hiccup and eventually it wont rev past 1.5k at all. The mods he has is the SC, Test pipes (he threw cel lights cuz of test pipes), and borla true dual exhaust, Ok so we know the SC wiring is perfect, there are no boost leaks. I asked vortech and they said its cuz of test pipes, that they tell engine is too rich and its leaning the car out, and the module is catching this prohibiting the motor. what should we do, he threw out the old cats like an idiot, and his car has been sitting for almost a month, could i try o2 simulator, also sometimes the car will throw a code when it dosent operate properly, but it goes away but car still acts weird, like i said if we reset the car for a few hours it drives like a blast until u turn it off than back on.

Not entirely sure here, but I know Stillen had issues with a loss of power when using the S/C with their own header. Essentially, there's too much overlap and too much of the fresh mixture goes back out the exhaust valves. It's possible test pipes cause a similar situation. I'd try to put some cats back in just to rule that out.
