Hi there...

If I would like to add a twin turbo kit to my 2006 350Z what do I have to change in my engine?

Thanks.

The kit should come with everything you need.

It should come with all you need to install it. But if your goal is excessive amouts of boost and horsepower you may want to go with forged internals so you dont potentaly blow the engine. The Z engine is said to go after about 400 or 450 hp. So if you are going for this or above this to stay safe you may want to go aftermarket and get forged internals for your engine.

stock internals will handle the basic kits just fine, it's when you start running more boost that you get into the danger zone

is that whp or bhp that the engine can hold?

I think anything over 400 crank horse you need to start building the internals.

Twins are the best . If you went single you might as well go with a supercharger(more efficient) Now twins....you will have that smaller one winding up fast to help wind up the bigger turbo. Great combination. Make sure you get everything and just "starter kit" you want to upgrade radiator, ecu, etc. .

There are plenty of good single turbo kits out there. They should be just as good as a twin turbo kit. I was either planning on doing a single turbo or a s/c when I get the money.

if you run 8psi you'll get the power you want, without damaging the motor. Turbonetics have a great twin kit. STS has a great kit if you want to do a rear-mount. Vortech has a great supercharger package.
