Has anyone on this forum built the heads on the VQ35DE?

I was planning on building the heads this year with:BC stage 2 camsBC stock size valvesBC titanium springs and retainers

Now i am thinking of going:BC stage 3 camsBC +1mm valvesBC titanium springs & retainers

I figured since the stage 2 and stage 3 cams and either size valves are the same price i mine as well go bigger. Is their anything wrong with my hyppothesis?...... I imagine i might need bigger injectors, but then again i might not, so i guess thats a question too.... would i need bigger injectors? I also figured since i will have them built at a machine shop i mine as well spend the extra cash to have them opened up for the bigger valves that will travel on the bigger cams.... I just figure i am spending the same amount on parts, and would have them tuned with stage 2 even though its "not required", so i might only spend $200 more for the extra machine work.

Any input on this?

WOW, guess i better do more research before i post.... BC doesn't offer stage 3 cams for the VQ35DE, i believe i was confused with another stage 3, maybe JWT which is who i thought of going with first on the build. Anywho i will go ahead and open the heads +1mm and go with +1mm valves but do everything else as planned....... I'm glad no one caught that and ripped me a new one for mixing things up! LOL

i didnt think i had ever seen a BC stage 3 but then again u seem to know a lil more than i do... so i wasnt goin to call u out... but u def had me looking everywhere for BC stage 3 to see the specs and stuff on em. lol

yes sir, my bad. Actually was talking with my buddy about the project and he mentioned how it seemed like i was doing a lot so i mine as well go all out. I wasn't refering to anything i had looked up just was thinking oh yeah stage 3 would be sweet. Actually have decided to go with what my original idea was with all stock size valves, and stage 2 BC. I do believe JWT has stage 3 but after one bad review of the cams, i am skeptical about buying them, plus Brian Crower is a widely trusted company.... So stage 2 crower it is.

yeah i think i would pick BC to.... its like what that company is knwn for.... GL with it all hope nothing happens and let us know the outcome!
