I take it, the LSD you got came without the pumpkin. If so, I'd highly recommend taking it to someone who specializes in transmissions/gears to install. Backlash and contact pattern are critical. Get them wrong and it can cause anything from increased gear noise, accelerated wear to total failure. Even driving it for a short period of time can cause permanent irreversible damage to the gears. You would need a good dial indicator as well. Might be cheaper to have it done professionally than to buy a good dial indicator.
