Your tires are rubbing because I'm sure they did an alignment after replacing the compression rods. They probably dialed in more postive camber, which brings the top of the tire further out. Even when I was lowered and had -1.5 camber in the rear, my tires would rub on the coupe 18" wheels and z suspension. The tire is too tall (245/45/18), which is why it rubbed. I would also have the alignment specs checked for the rear to see where your camber is actually set at if you never had rubbing before. If you run about -1.6 to -1.7 rear camber, you should be able to continue running the oem tire size for the 19" wheels. If not, a fender roll will easily give you 10-15 mm more of clearance and you will have no more issues, lowered or not. Rolling the fender is cake, take your time, use a heat gun.
What ever you do, DON'T run Revised Z springs on your oem shocks. They aren't dampened properly to handle the increased spring stiffness of the revised rear z springs. Even if you had the sport tuned suspension, I still would not recommend this setup. If you are going to use the revised z springs, I suggest using springs and shocks combined together from the z.
