Its cool. What amount of nitrous is he running?

With nitrous its important to have a wet kit so you don't rely on the factory injectors for fuel. A wide open throttle switch and a RPM window switch.

B4 my G I had a 4 door Hemi Ram with 2 nitrous kits that ran high 12's on a 75 & 125 hp shot.

125 shot. 100 first stage wet, 25 second dry and he has a WOT switch

He is currently in 1st place on the nitrous ranking

I now realize this is the wrong forum to say broken on. Broken in my book is an adjective meaning awesome.

Your attempt to seem high roller and street urban at the same time isn't working well IMO. I would choose which ground you want to stand on, personally.

The last pic really needs to go.

I respect your opinion. I've just started and everything I've done so far has been self taught, so I have a long way to go lol.

Cool! I clicked the link and read the posts. Staged systems works great I did a 2 stage. This is the guy who helped me design my system and taught me everything I know about Nitrous. Last time we talked he was running 4 stages on a built 370 cubic inch stroker motor.

Oh really? When I think forced induction, I think turbos and superchargers. I don't really understand much about nitrous use though. Can you explain the thinking behind why it's considered forced induction? I always thought it was spraying nitrous oxide into the combustion chamber for a more powerful burning reaction to create extra power, not neccessarily forcing more air in...

Oh wait... I think I just answered my own question... :facepalm2

When you heat nitrous oxide to about 570 degrees, it splits into oxygen and nitrogen. So when you inject that into an engine, it means that more oxygen is available during combustion. It also cools the intake air, and most of us are familiar with how that makes power.

Thus, dorsed infuction.

Consider it the one type that doesn't need a intercooler.

Right. Nitrous Oxide is an oxidizer, and a means of forcibly adding additional oxygen into the combustion chamber. Which is exactly what s/c and turbos do, it just uses a different delivery system. Nitrous oxide is simply a nice, safe, stable way to store oxygen.

Exactly. It started making more sense to me as I started thinking about what Nitrous oxide is and what it does under heat.

I hadn't really seriously considered using nitrous versus a turbo or a supercharger before, but this is making a Z33 even more attractive to me.

I'm assuming the kit in the OP is a heavy hitter and not for amatuers. About how much might a relatively simple entry level nitrous kit install cost & what kind of power gains can one expect on the VQ35DE or rev-up from it?
