How much should I pay for this car? Any known issues with this year? Thanks for the help!

Many 03-04 Z33's have oil consumption and issues with the transmission, depending on what a carfax can tell you the average price of that kind of Z should be in the ballpark of 13-15k

A big important issue & very expensive one is the top itself. Make sure you check out the top throughly, look for any excessive wear problems, pinholes & top motor mechanics working perfectly & etc. I had to have my top replaced which was still under warranty.....top was starting to separate under the rear window seam. I also had to replace the ac condensor which was also under warranty.....my cd player went bad a year after warranty expired....cheap bose headunit! No other problems since.

I have what is referred to is a '04.5 touring roadster model which included many corrective tech updates to the car from earlier problems from built '03-'04 cars.....Do more research too!
One quick note is that if your '04 has knee pads more than likely it's a '04.5. October of '03 is the beginning date of the '04.5 model.

As far as price....it all depends on what model, enthusiast or touring....touring is the most expensive......if the condition is super clean & well taken care of than 17k might be worth it!
