? How exactly can you tell?

If you're refering to the logo, nismo changed that recently (the O being hollow instead of a solid dot)...

because the backing plate that came on it was from some aftermarket accessories company.

also i ordered a black one and they sent me a polished one.

quality wasn't too good either...
