Did that first... both are fine and installed an additional grounding kit... still no dice.Tennz wrote:Test the battery and check the grounding wire from the battery to the block for internal corrosion that can cause resistance. Just a thought.
wtf.90TSIAWD wrote:First, the car is a 2003 model with a 5 or 6 speed whatever it is they came with.
better get used to it, its all the rage.90TSIAWD wrote:the throttle by wire crap (yes, it's crap, on any car)..

The car runs and drives perfectly under normal operation. However, if you are accelerating at all and have either of the blinkers on the throttle cuts out with each pulse of the blinker. My initial thought was that it the flasher circuit was somehow pulling voltage..
I'm stumped.
What about the fuel pump?90TSIAWD wrote:

It happened with the stock bulbs. Started happening with the OEM bulbs in place.R350Zz33 wrote:try the stock bulbs
Thought about that too, fuel pump seems to be functioning ok and voltage to the pump has been verified with a multimeter and as far as we can test doesn't fluctuate.Tennz wrote:

Why didn't I think of that?!? The reason for the 5 or 6 speed statement, it's not my car, it's my buddy's and I forgot what they came with when I first wrote the thread on a different forum. Also, I know I should get used to it... I just don't want to.
