Is this normal for 350Z owners for the car battery to die after not driving it for a few days? I have owned 3 300ZX's and never had this problem even after going on vacation for 2 weeks it still started. Why would the nissan dealer recommend a battery buddy if its driven occasionally say 2times a week?

THANKS!

No, that's not normal. When I had my 08 350Z I only drove mine 2 or 3 times a week and even then I only drove it 30 mins or so on most of those days. My car always started.

It could be 1 of 3 things or a combination of them - (1) Your battery is going bad and not keeping a charge. (2) Your voltage regulator is bad and allowing the battery to trickle drain even when the car is off. (3) It's not likely but possible that your altinator is going bad and it's providing just enough charge to keep the car going but not enough to also charge the battery - this is a guess really because I've heard of it happening but never witnessed it personally.

Either there is abad grund somewhere or ( much more likely) your battery is bad.

My battery is pretty beat up right now does only 70% of anew one and still starts the car everytime even in winter even with the parasitic drag of a SC.
