350Z from CT

Hey, my name is Jeff and I just picked up my 2004 nissan 350z touring back in December after owning 2 240sx. No big plans as of yet but to get some nice weather to drive it. So far I have put on a s2000 antenna on, k&n drop in filter in, and I have a Suzuka Ings replica lip on order.

The only thing it needs is fresh paint on the hood. the car is originally from florida so i believe it was driven up here alot causing all the rock chips. This should be done when the lip gets painted.

I see you live in Connecticut, is it an all-conditions care or does it only come out when it's nice(r) out?

haha thanks! yea usually when i drive the car im taking pictures.

i only drive it when its nice or nice(ish) out. as you can see in some of the pics there is snow on the ground but i still drive it. it does gets washed at least once a week and gets a quick spray wax every few days.

I'm guessing it had to stay inside all weekend, didn't it.. Poor Z, should go out and go sledding with friends.

Seriously though, in the long run you may want to consider an extra set of wheels loaded with some winter tires... I'd suggest Blizzaks.

yeaaa haha no snow for this car. its a florida car so its never seen it, also i really have no need to take it out in the snow. i have the s13 for that fun and my daily to get me around.

i dont feel like we even get enough snow up here for snow tires. i dont even use them on my daily an never had a problem. i only work 2 miles from my house also. i could ride my bike if its that bad and i had to go out lol

Got my ings lx rep front lip in and test fitted it. Should be getting painted in a few weeks.

Still waiting for my lip. I'm suppose to get it back today.
My belts were getting noisy so I ordered some OEM ones. I also placed an order today for a Motordyne 5/16 plenum spacer. Probably will install both when the spacer comes in. I wont be doing too much driving with the Z anyways since were going to have a messy weekend with snow and rain.

Installed the motordyne spacer. cant believe i paid over $200 for that thing. I'm just waiting for a sunny day to really get on the car to see if theres any noticeable difference.

Lately there has been a burning smell coming from my car after I take it for a drive. Did some searching around and found my drivers side valve cover is leaking.

Finally got some paint work done. hood, fenders, front bumper, and front lip repainted.

story time.....

this past summer i decided to cleaned the house, i sold my 2 240sx's to help fund my 350z.
my 2nd 240 was sold first to have the Z painted

with the new owner it nows looks like this

then i depressingly sold my first owned 240sx with only 79k on it

it used to look like this in its glory days

and now i just own this as a free daily

And I have the Z as my toy. Recently i had the windows tinted 35%. For now it'll sit this way for awhile. I'd like to get rims by spring next year. Looking at getting Work xd9's in matt blue 18x10 all around or even the new 19inch cr kai ultimates in white. oh and a heavy shift knob.... and as you can see in some of the pictures my lip decided not to stick perfectly to the bumper. I gotta fix that eventually.
